Welcome to the website dedicated to the Montumbo King! It is well known that the Montumbo style was created and developed by Gato Blanco and pulls together many different musical styles and influences.  From rich cuban rhythms, to tight horn punctuations, Gato Blanco's Montumbo style truly gives each song a unique listening experience.

"While conducting my research to find the true origin of the Montumbo, I stumbled across an audio recording dating back to 1970, which may in fact be the original demo for one of Gato's biggest songs, "Nós Voamos".
